For their Spring 2021 production, Endicott College Mainstage chose to devise an entire musical from scratch. The cast members and directors worked together to come up with ideas for characters and plot, formulate scenes, and create songs and dance numbers. The show focused on the individual lives and struggles of a family of six, and how they are all impacted by the father's alcoholism. I played a character named Margot, who served as a best friend and support system for one of the daughters, Faith. I was also a member of the ensemble, and with help from musical director Becca Kenneally, I wrote and performed my own song, "Barricades". Creating our own shown was an interesting new experience but one I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of :)
